Our Story

Rocky Shores Clothing was founded by Arthur “Arty” Watson in early 2022 — born from both the weight of hardship and the strength it forged. Like the rugged coastlines of the world — carved by storms, tides, and time — life has a way of testing us. I know this truth in my bones. I have weathered my share of storms, felt the deep marks that trauma leaves, and stood in moments where the waves felt too strong to fight.

But I’ve learned something powerful — like the shoreline, we can endure, we can reshape, and we can rise stronger than before.

This brand is not just about clothing — it’s about resilience, healing, and hope. Every piece we create is inspired by the raw beauty of the world around us — a reminder that, like nature, we endure, adapt, and rise again. The jagged cliffs, the crashing waves, the endless horizon, and the silent strength of the animals all find their way into our designs. And just as the ocean never stops moving, Rocky Shores is a promise to keep moving forward, no matter how fierce the current.

I chose the name Rocky Shores because it is where strength and beauty meet — a place where you can stand firm while the waves crash around you. It’s a reminder that scars are not signs of weakness; they are proof that we have overcome. Our designs reflect this truth: rooted in nature, shaped by heritage, and created for those who carry battles the world may never see.

At its core, Rocky Shores Clothing belongs to the fighters, the champions, and the ones who refuse to be broken. It’s for the survivors who wear their scars like badges of honour, for the seekers chasing light through the darkest nights, and for the believers who know that healing is not weakness — it is strength reborn.
